Kathleen Ceglarski Burns

Kathleen Ceglarski Burns counsels Massachusetts school district clients on a wide variety of matters, including labor and employment, student discipline, and special education issues.  Prior to joining Long, DiPietro, and Gonzalez, LLP, Kathleen worked for fifteen years as a litigator at Nixon Peabody, where she handled complex litigation, arbitration, and investigations, and served as the co-managing partner of the Boston office.  During law school, Kathleen interned for the Honorable Joseph L. Tauro in the District of Massachusetts, the Office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy in the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in the Homicide Unit.

Kathleen is a graduate of Boston College (B.A. 2003) and Northeastern University School of Law (J.D. 2007).  She is admitted to the bar of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
